五. 嘉宾简介
June Wei is a professor in the Department of Management/MIS of the College of Business at the University of West Florida. Dr. June Wei earned a master degree from School of Management at Zhejiang University, another master degree from School of Industrial and Systems Engineering at Georgia Institute of Technology, and a Ph.D. from Purdue University. Her working experiences include telecommunication and network sector and health care sector. She worked as a software engineer in Marconi Communications in Dallas for more than five years. She had Quality Control working experience in Bausch & Lomb Company in Atlanta. She also has extensive working experience with enterprise information systems development. Her research interest covers information security and human behavior on Internet commerce, enterprise e-value chain management on e-business, enterprise information systems development, and human information processing for cognitive tasks analysis. She has more than 100 publications in referral journal and conference proceedings. Dr. June Wei is an Editor-in-Chief of The International Journal of Mobile Communications, The Electronic Government: An International Journal, and The International Journal of Electronic Finance, and an Associate Editor of the International Journal of E-Entrepreneurship and Innovation and The Journal of Information Privacy and Security. She is also a Guest Editor and an Editorial Board member of many other journals.
José Humberto Ablanedo-Rosas is an Associate Professor of Operations and Supply Chain Management at the College of Business Administration, the University of Texas at El Paso. He received his PhD from the University of Mississippi. His research interests include supply chain models, business logistics, scheduling, metaheuristics, and total quality management. Recently, he has been studying how business intelligence is defining a new business model for the smart grid. He has published in journals such as European Journal of Operational Research, Computers and Operations Research, International Journal of Production Research, Expert Systems, OMEGA, and International Journal of Shipping and Transport Logistics.
Shameen Prashantham is an associate professor of international business and strategy at China Europe International Business School (CEIBS). Prior to that, he had been working at Nottingham University Business School China from 2011 to 2015 as an associate professor in international business & strategy. Before joining NUBS China, Dr. Prashantham spent a decade in Scotland, UK, as a doctoral and post-doctoral researcher at Strathclyde University and then as Lecturer and latterly Senior Lecturer in International Business & Strategy at Glasgow University. His research and teaching interests relate to international entrepreneurship and strategy. His research focuses on new venture internationalization, in particular how start-ups “dance with gorillas” i.e. partner with large multinationals as a means to improve their prospects of innovation and international expansion. He also has interests in strategy-as-practice. His work, undertaken in China, India, the UK and US, has been published in California Management Review, Entrepreneurship Theory & Practice, Journal of International Business Studies, Journal of Management Studies and Organization Studies, among other outlets. His latest book is Born Globals, Networks and the Large Multinational Enterprise: Insights from Bangalore and Beyond
Prof. Wenyu Zhang is a full professor and dean at the School of Information, Zhejiang University of Finance & Economics, China. He received Bachelor degree in Zhejiang University, China in 1989 and Ph.D. in Nanyang Technological University, Singapore in 2002. He worked as a research fellow (2003 to 2004) of Innovation in Manufacturing Systems and Technology programme (IMST), Singapore – Massachusetts Institute of Technology Alliance (SMA), Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. He worked as an associate professor (2004-2005) at the School of Computer Science, Zhejiang University, China. His research interests include business analytics, big data management, data mining, business intelligence, e-commerce, e-government, Manufacturing service, Web service, supply chain management, grid computing, multi-agent technology and Semantic Web. He is member of multiple editorial boards of international journals, including The Scientific World Journal, and International Journal of Business Research and Management. As the first or corresponding author, he has published over 40 papers in international journals and over 20 papers in international conference proceedings in recent 10 years.
